Is to late for a 14 year old to start playing soccer again and make the U.S. development academy team?

Ive probably been playing since i was like 4 but i quit when i was 11, now I want to play again and make my clubs academy team. Try outs are in august , if i were to start rigors training like camps individual training and playing reecreational games for practice i could make the team.

1. It's never too late.

2. yes, it is 2 late---my suggestion would b to start life over and stay loyal to soccer then MABEY u could make the USDA team

3. no its not i started to play soccer at 14 too and people tell me i am the best and captain

4. if you got the talent then your not to old, one thing will say not sure how it goes in america but here in uk all the good players are usually signed up to professional teams before they are teenagers usually.

5. 1. you're 14 years old, 2. you probably have 3 - 4 years to get noticed and make the u.s. development academy team, and 3. people who make/have made the academy team have been playing for the majority of their lives. i've been playing pretty much my whole life and my parents never really had the money for me to go and play for the top competitive team that has a development academy in san diego. if you think you have the talent, then go ahead and try out. but one thing i'll say, good luck.
