Soccer TRAINING! HELP!!!?
Hello, i've looked for forums to allow me to ask soccer questions reguarding toning y soccer skills, but I found none . You see I need help. I am a starter for my select team, and i am one of the better players on the team. But this year most of the kids on the team are attending Clemson a soccer camp. I need help on my soccer skills so i can stay with them. Its just me and I have 2 soccer goals (small ones!!!), like 10 cones and a soccer ball. IF anybody can help with learning to: bend the ball, pass and cross, improve juggling and dribbling and other basic soccer skills please speak up. If you can help by actualy making me a training schedule I can use daily that would be excellent! Or if u know a website where I can visit to post this for more soccer help please also speak up.

1. First develop leg strength by kicking an old basketball against a wall and practice trapping it...there are some good books at library as well on basic soccer training
2. hi ive learned alot by getting used to the ball under ur feet without having to look down all the tym. to get used to the ball by ur feet start by just jogging with the ball ther useing the out side of ur right or left foot with ever one u use then wen ur getting used to it then start running at 3 quarter lengths and keeping the ball under control by ur feet the wen u think ur ready try it and a sprint pace. then try it with ur opposite foot. so u dont hav to depend on one foot u can then use both. set ur cones out in a line with about a meter gap between each cone and just weave in and out without a ball then wen ur ready try it with a ball with the outside of ur foot then with the inside of ur foot then try with ur other foot wen ready then make the gap between the cones smaller and smaller until u cannt get the ball between each cone its a good way to get use to the ball in a small confined area. to train ur shooting set the cones in a half of a circle about 10 meters from the goal and shot from each cone with both feet and keep on trying this till until u score everytym and then set the half circle bak another meter or two and make the ahgle towards goal more acute so the u have to start trying to curl the ball. to curl the ball use ur inside of ur foot but not in the middle use between the middle of ur foot and ur toes and shoot it should curl if not then u can always try the middle of ur foot. i hope this helps iam only 17 but i do play for my under 18 state team in aus and i used to play for the arsenal under 8's wen i lived in england.
