Have you ever been to soccer camp?

I´m planning to go to Nike soccer camp in UC Santa Barbara next summer, so I was wondering how soccer camp is? Did you like it? Did you improve your skills? Would you do it again? Its the first time I´m going, so I would like to know. THANKS

1. I've been to many soccer camps in the past. It is really fun and you make lots of new friends. The coaches teach you a lot but, you have to practice at home to become good. They usually do some little drills in the beginning and then at the end you do some fun scrimmages. I would do it again but, am probably to old.

2. Nike Camp will be a great opportunity for you to be scouted by some top teams. You should make sure you are at the top of your game when you get there.


Most importantly you need to be working to become a better Soccer player each and every single day. If you think your too good to keep improving, your wrong. Keep getting better every single day.

If you want to become a better Soccer player you should be looking to improve all areas of your game not just a select few: Technical Skill, Physical Fitness, Mental Toughness, and Tactical Understanding.

First of all you need to start training on your own - work to improve the basic ball skills, dribbling, shooting, passing, and ball control.

Work to improve your fitness: strength, power, speed, acceleration, endurance, and flexibility.

Next you need to always give your best effort on the field. Remember you only have one chance to play that game so leave it all out there. be the hardest working player on the field.

You should also start watching professional Soccer at least 1 game per week, you can learn so much from pros.
