What are some soccer drills and easy ways to train and get in shape for soccer?

I'm trying out for the soccer team this spring and I need some ways to practice and get in shape.

1. I love to play soccer and I have been on many teams so I know a lot of drills some of the most basic drill are setting up a lot of cones in random places and dribble you ball around them when you do that your reflections get better and better that is good if you are a forward. Also if you have a pulbic soccer field with goalposts I line up balls in various places at various distances and try shooting at the goal this will help your accuracy. I hope this has helped you!

2. Some nice drills for soccer would be: run a whole lot every day try running a mile or so to build stamina, and try running with the ball so that you can get a better control of the ball, and once you've learned how to get a nice control of the ball, learn how to angle the ball correctly so when you shoot it goes in the direction you want it to go in. Also you could run up and down the stairs. practicing passing the ball correctly, you could also run up steep hills so your leg will get stronger.

3. If you plan to play soccer you are going you will need endurance. Start by jogging 30 minutes everyday and build towards running for 60 minutes. A professional game last for at least 90 minutes, you should be able to jog and walk continuously for 90 minutes.

In regards to dribbling, place 8-10 cones (or objects) on a playing field and practice dribbling around the cones. Once you mastered the course, try moving the cones around, making the course more difficult. You can also start using your weak leg to dribble past the cones. You will have a huge advantage over your peers if you are able to use both legs for dribbling and kicking.

Hope this helps,
Tina
