soccer training and then trying out for school team?

ok so im a 14 year old boy.... i am going to be going to high school in about 4 1/2 months. and i have tryouts for soccer a few weeks before school starts on december 5.

i am an average player and i take soccer classes once a week. but i really need to make this team because... well i just really want to.
so starting from now april 6. if i practice an hour a day ... and over the summer im gonna be going to a world class soccer camp which is for 5 to 6 hours a day. and im going to it for a bout a month( not including weekends). so in total ill have almost 200 hours of practice.
will it be good enough to help me improve and possibly make the team.
****oops i ment september 5****** soo the tryouts will probably be in late august

1. That depends on how intense your training is- the world class camp is a good choice- and what team you're trying out for (freshman, JV, or Varsity), also how competitive your school is in boy's soccer. But overall if you were to really push yourself and tried your hardest to retain all the experience your sure to get from camp, you should make the team (for sure freshmen and JV, though your varsity team might be a different matter). Best thing to remember is that coaches are looking for kids with just enough skill, but more importantly potential and the "want" to play. Good luck!

2. let me tell you my part of the story i was 14 loved soccer played on a average team but i wanted more i wanted to play premier in the beginning of summer i got badly injured broke my back vertebrai was out of all physical activity for months when i got cleared to play i wanted to get back in shape so much i played and practiced alone and with friends for atleast 4-6 hours a day a month later i tried out for premier academy and my hard work had paid off i made it if i did you can too man

3. yes i did a similar team but i barely made it on because i got lazy and didn't actually work hard during the training. i wasn't starting on the team so i decided to run in the mornings. it helps you get in shape and your energized for the day. Also listen to the coaches and don't be a suck up they hate it.

basically just have fun but work hard.

And remember don't be upset if you don't make the team or don't play much

GOOD LUCK!

Go Hereford (for me)

Sign up for spring summer and fall leagues. Start running now. You can make up for a lot of faults IF you have great stamina! Run two miles a day, even if you have to walk. The distance is important. Once you can run the distance comfortably, you can do alternate days of 10 mile bike SPRINTS. That way you will get the cardio, without the impact.
