chances of getting into UW!?

I was just wondering how good of a chance I have at getting into UW. I have a 3.6 but i had straight A's both semesters of my junior year. I have taken all honors and ap classes for all of high school. Im a three year varsity soccer player and have 4 years of club soccer. I am a cheerleader senior year and I got a 1900 on my sat and a 28 on my act. I am on a teen board for a local charity house and i am a junior counselor a couple weeks out of the summer at a childrens camp. I am also the vice president of the volunteer club at my school. I have reffed youth soccer since I was a freshman and high school and interned at a law firm my summer going into senior year. Also, im in leadership and asb. My gpa is a little low, but do i have a good chance at getting accepted. I live in Washington state!

1. I got in and you had a better GPA then I did at the time I applied. As you know the UW is getting harder to get into but you should have no problems. I transfered over from a community college graduating with a 3.52 and was accepted into the School of Business.

A lot of my classmates from Seattle Central that was in the business core was not accepted at the Seattle campus but the Bothell and Tacoma U of W. Give it your best shot and go for it, but I think you will get in from what you write about yourself.

I am not sure if you will need to write an essay about why you want into the UW but we had to take two essay tests to get into the business school. If you do have to write a personal essay about yourself then make sure it is perfect. You will not believe some of the essay's I've read from classmates that wanted into the UW.

Going to the UW is fantastic beyond my dreams, you will have so much fun there. Good luck, visualize it already happening. That is what I did and it worked. I went to the campus, walked around and went into the business school and pictured myself there as a student. My grades were not the best, but my essay's were. That is because I practiced writing for six months before I took the essay test for the business school.
