Are these colleges too competitive for me?

I've compiled a list of colleges that I want to apply to, but I'm a bit worried that the schools I've selected are too competitive.

1. Miami University
2. University of Notre Dame
3. Brown University
4. Northwestern University
5. University of Dayton
6. Tulane University
7. Fordham University
8. University of Michigan
I'm going to add one more saftey school (one that I know I can get accepted to, just in case) but I'm still worried that I've placed too many selective schools on my list (the most competitive obviously being Notre Dame, Brown, and Northwestern.)

GPA- 3.78 (unweighted)
ACT- 28
All of my classes have been CP or AP (my school offers few AP courses. By the time I graduate, I will have taken five)

Extracurriculars-
Basketball
Soccer
Track
Volunteering at animal shelter
Key Club
FBLA
Foreign Language Club
Volunteering at Youth League basketball camps and practices
Senior Mentor

Should I keep my list, or shoot a little lower? (I live in Ohio, if you're wondering what region these colleges are in.)

Public Comments

1. I suggest Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA.

2. Its a crap shoot nowadays, you have a fair amount of extracurriculars which looks good and considering you pass the AP exams a good amount of college credits but so much depends on extenuating circumstances i.e. location, socioeconomic bracket, race ect.
The GPA could go up but in all fairness you should be accepted into most of these schools.

3. I know someone who had the same GPA and ACT score and she got into UM. School's are very competitive, however, your GPA and ACT scores are great.
