Which sport is more Expensive Volleyball or Soccer?

My friend plays soccer and she wanted to play volleyball but she "says" its more expensive. I have ALWAYS heard the most expensive sport you could ever play was soccer. So...Please help prove me right! Like even training camps too. which do you think is more in playing that sport and going to like a YMCA camp thing or condtioning too?

1. Volleyball because if soccer was more expensive Mexicans would not be playing it as they cannot afford it.

2. Hockey is very expensive, The equipment is very expensive.

3. are you kidding me? i spend about $5-6,000 every year on volleyball. you are constantly buying new kneepads, shoes (dont even get me started on my shoes! if you get the good mizuno kind of course), ankle braces, socks, spandex, pre wrap, jerseys, club team fees (holy hell!), school team fees, travel, hotels, food for tournaments, if you have a trainer for jumping and conditioning theres that. ya wanna know why all the 3rd world countries are so damn good at soccer? its the only freaking thing they can afford to play! volleyball requires nets, poles for the nets, balls, ballcourts, gym floors- AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HAND-EYE COORDINATION!!! soccer is one of- if not- the least expensive sport on the face of the planet.that answer your question?

4. Most sports can become very expensive if you let them. Similarly, many sports can be run quite economically.

Trainers can be expensive for volleyball but you may need boots (with cleats) and trainers (without) for soccer depending on the surface. So not only do you have expensive boots, you have expensive trainers.

I don't think volleyball's any more expensive than soccer - unless you let it be.
