What are some good goals for soccer?
I'm going into 9th grade next year, and I want to join the hs girls soccer team (im a girl). they say u need to be able to juggle 10-15 times n run 1.5 miles in 13.30. i want to excel in soccer, so i plan to go to a soccer camp n practice a lot. what are some goals i should do for:
running?
juggling?
tricks?
stamina?
just give me any tips or ideas- ill take all of them into mind!

1. You definitely need to run a lot and become very used to running 2-3 miles. Running will get the muscles in your legs stronger which helps you shooting which you too need to practice.This includes stamina. You don't need to know tricks, you need to have good control of the ball like being able to trap it after getting a lob or cross. Good luck on your try out.
2. I would definitely strive for getting the 1.5 miles in under 12 minutes. As for juggling, definitely more than 10-15. I would go for 50 at least. Once you get past a certain point it's not a matter of skill, it's just a matter of how much time you have.
I suggest being able to run 2-3 miles at a stretch, and I would do some sprints. You should be able to do 6 full fields (down and back with a 45 second rest in between) in 45-55 seconds each, at the very least. My girls high school team has the freshman run 18 total full fields, and we expect them to be able to juggle 75-100 times, with 100 being the max allowed.
