Do i have a shot at SMU?

hi i am a freshman at a small private university in new orleans and i really dont like it so i was think of switching to SMU . Right now i have a really low ACT its a 25, :(, but im hoping my credentials will help, here is the list :·GPA 3.70

1. As an alumni of the school, I would say that your credentials look pretty good, I don't think colleges necessarily dwell on ACT/SAT scores after you have already been admitted into a college, those tests are really just a benchmark in predicting how you would do, however your grades right now, seem to prove that you are going to do well. Also I know that they take a look at the whole picture when making decisions on who gets admitted.
It seems that you are a pre-med major, if this is the case I would advise that you do more research on different colleges in terms of what is going to offer you the best value and advantage upon completing your undergrad, if you already have a post graduate school of choice in mind, I would also try to find out what caliber of students they look for when making their admission decisions also.
