What are my chances of getting into the Naval Academy?

I am currently a sophomore in High School that is in all honors classes (AP is not allowed until Junior year or later). I have a 4.5 weighted GPA. I have gotten a varsity letter my sophomore year for soccer (Honorable Mention All-League), basketball, and soon tennis and will be getting more until I graduate. I am on Student Council and am looking to run for either President or Vice President. I also am a member of my church youth group. I will be attending the HOBY leadership weekend this June. I have been working a basketball camp for the last two years and will be for the next following years. I am ranked 2nd in my class of about 150. I am a member of Heroes & Cool Kids (Higher self-esteem for younger kids).

So what are my chances?
For redhd:

I am perfectly healthy. I have 20/20 vision, I ran the mile in 5:43 with a mile and a half in 8:54 (This past week for my school's physical fitness test). I am always either running or working out to be in great shape. However, I am no muscleman that can bench 200. As of now, I can bench 130.

Also, I have a grandfather that served in the navy for two years during World War II, from 1944 to 1946 on the USS Macon (CA-132). I was wondering if that would help by any chance.

1. you'll need more community service. Make sure you're doing at least one activity that exemplifies each of the following: Honor, Courage, Commitment

Also, make sure you're taking lots of math and science courses and try picking up a spring sport in addition to soccer in the fall. (try lacrosse, swimming, and/or crew for extra points with the USNA admissions dept)

And try to make an appointment now to meet your congressperson. It doesn't have to be about USNA yet but just try and get some face time so you're not just another name when it comes time to ask for the required congressional recommendation.

What state are you in? that matters too.

everybody's grandfather served during WW2 so that won't help out. Now if he went to the academy, that makes a difference.

2. Right now, I'm afraid that you wouldn't get in. Because you have great grades and sports and other things I'm sure, doesn't mean you'll get in.

1) To get into the Naval Academy, you have to get two letters of recommendation from your state's congressmen (this is very difficult)
2) You have to be perfectly healthy, (ie: must have 20/20 vision, must run a mile in 6 minutes and do an average of 80 push-ups and crunches, and have no allergies or diseases of any kind)
3) Must be in the NJROTC program
4) You need connections (no joke)

I attend Admiral Farragut Academy which is a private military school, and out of about 10 students that wanted to go, none of them were accepted except for 2 of my friends that only got accepted to the Naval Academy Preparatory School. We are all in the NJROTC program at my school.

But the situation with the Naval Academy is that they are not looking for out of high school students. They are accepting only people that have been out of school and in other colleges for a few years already.
