Wanted: Ideas for a charity!?

I'm so motivated to start a charity of some sort. Preferably something that can be benefited by people all over the world.

I'm looking for a low-cost, high-impact idea. A perfect example is a charity called OA Projects - a grassroots organization that uses soccer to build stronger communities for war-affected youth. They help rehabilitate soccer fields, organize free soccer camps, and distribute soccer equipment to children in Africa. The concept was inspired by a passage in a book by Canadian General Romeo Dallaire (serving the UN in Rwanda during the Genocide) that described a group of children who, amidst violent chaos, temporarily escaped the horror surrounding them by playing soccer with a clump of banana leaves.

This is a brilliant idea! Please help me with your innovative solutions and we can solve the world's problems together!

1. Try reading "Three Cups of Tea" and then see if soccer fields are really what you want to work for.

You might be able to tap into a charity that is already a going concern rather than trying to re-invent the wheel. There are many of them. "Kids against hunger"
( http://kidsagainsthunger.org/ ) might peak your interest.
